Empowering Communities Through Education & Cleanliness

At Reepads Tanzania, our work goes far beyond manufacturing high-quality reusable menstrual products. We are deeply committed to transforming how communities understand, talk about, and manage menstrual hygiene.

Our consultancy arm partners with schools, NGOs, government agencies, and community-based organizations to design and deliver programs that promote education, dignity, and sustainable impact. Through our workshops, training programs, and strategic support, we empower individuals and institutions to create lasting change  breaking stigma, improving hygiene practices, and keeping girls in school.

We bring with us decades of combined experience, deep local knowledge, and a proven track record of making menstrual health programs culturally relevant, cost-effective, and sustainable.

Our Consultancy Services

1. Menstrual Hygiene Education & Training

We conduct engaging, interactive workshops in schools, communities, and workplaces led by our experienced public-health educators.
Our sessions cover:

  • Understanding puberty and menstrual health.

  • Correct use and care of reusable pads.

  • Hygiene practices for dignity and health.

  • Tackling harmful myths and taboos surrounding menstruation.

These sessions are more than just lessons  they are safe spaces for open dialogue, where students and community members can ask questions without shame. As we often share on our LinkedIn page:

“We partner with nonprofits and community organizations to provide reusable pads  a long-term, sustainable solution that helps girls stay in school.”

2. Training-of-Trainers (ToT) Programs

We believe in multiplying impact by equipping educators, health workers, and community leaders to become local menstrual hygiene ambassadors.
Our ToT program includes:

  • Effective facilitation techniques for MHM education.

  • Community engagement & mobilization strategies.

  • Addressing stigma and breaking taboos.

  • Monitoring, evaluation, and reporting skills.

  • Local supply chain coordination for product distribution.

By training trainers, we ensure knowledge continues to spread long after our direct involvement.

ESP-04 & ESP-05 Training of Trainers (TOT)REEpads proudly facilitated the ESP-04 and ESP-05 Training of Trainers programs, in partnership with the Government of Canada and the Government of Tanzania. These sessions equipped participants with practical skills in reusable pad production, menstrual health education, and entrepreneurship. By empowering trainers to replicate these skills in their communities, REEpads advances menstrual health, community empowerment, and sustainable livelihoods across Tanzania.

3. Parent & Male Engagement Forums

We know men must be part of the period conversation. Our unique forums bring parents, fathers, and male leaders into the dialogue, fostering empathy and understanding.

At REEpads, we believe parents play a vital role in guiding children through sensitive topics like menstrual hygiene management and sexual reproductive health. We engage parents first to ensure they are informed, comfortable, and supportive, creating a safe environment for open discussions at home. Once parents understand the information, we bring them together with their children in joint sessions. This approach builds trust, strengthens family communication, and ensures consistent messages are shared across generations. By uniting parents and children in learning, we break cultural taboos, promote healthier practices, and empower families to support each other through every stage of growth.
Through role-play, open discussions, and storytelling, we help families create supportive home environments for children.

4. Program Design & Implementation Support

From initial concept to successful delivery, we help organizations create impactful menstrual health programs by offering:

  • Needs assessment & community analysis.

  • Budgeting and resource allocation.

  • Donor & stakeholder reporting.

  • Sustainability planning & scaling strategies.

  • Integration of product distribution and awareness campaigns.

Our consultancy ensures your program is not just launched, but lasting.
